Two halves of a lemon found preserved in the floorboards above the Blue Room along the wall in the NE corner. Discovered during conservation works when removing floorboards from the late 19th century. The lemon is likely from the 18th century as it was covered in wood shavings that were from an attempt to level the floor prior to renovations.
